Hope | Scripture Reference:  Luke 1:26-38
Discuss the following questions with your Small Group:

1. The angel Gabriel greets Mary as “favored one,” (v. 28) meaning that she is a recipient of God’s grace, yet her response is to be “troubled” (v. 29). Have there been times in your life when God’s grace didn’t quite look like you thought it would?
2. “Jesus” means “the Lord saves.” What do you think when you consider that all of the power and authority given to Jesus (v. 32-33) is used to save you?
3. What is the role of the Holy Spirit in the angel’s announcement? How do you similarly see the Holy Spirit at work in your life and in our church?
4. How do you think Mary is able to pray what she prays in v. 38?
5. How can we help each other to live out the prayer of v. 38 in our own lives?
