Gone Fishing | Scripture Reference: Scripture: Luke 5:1-11
Discuss the following questions with your Small Group:

  1. What excuses do you find yourself making that keep you from following Jesus?  Do you sense His call upon your life in a specific area?
  2. What are you willing to give up or leave behind in order to follow Jesus in this call to “fish”?
  3. How are you going to respond if you’ve tried trying to “fish” without results? Would you quit or try again?
  4. Are you willing to go wherever He leads you?  Share a time when you did.
  5. Share about area(s) of your life where you are dependent on Jesus?   
  6. Share one small step of obedience you can take this week? Could you walk across the room, as the Lord leads you, to have a conversation with someone (or to do something) even if you’re nervous?
  7. Take time to pray for one another in your Small Group.
