Scattered into the Furthest Places

Acts 13:2-3

God calls us to be missionaries to the far reached places, to the hard places, to give our entire lives to live counter-cultural for the cause of the gospel.

Series Information

What is the Church? Often, we tend to define “church” as a building or as a time that we meet together to worship. However, God tells us in His Word that the Church is a People, His People. And so, when the gathering ends and we leave the building, we don’t cease being the people of God, but rather take “Church” to wherever God has called us to be until we Gather again. There’s a rhythm to this, every week, we gather as the Church, and then we scatter as the Church. So the question is, who are we when we’re not in the building together? We are the Church Scattered.
