The Way | Scripture Reference:  James 1:22-25
Discuss the following questions with your Small Group:

  1. Read James 1:22-25. Describe how a person can be a ‘hearer’ of the word. What does it look like? Describe how a person can be a ‘doer’ of the word. What does that look like?
  2. In v. 23-24 it gives us an illustration of a mirror. How does that relate to the ‘doer’ and the ‘hearer’?
  3. In v. 25 how does the law connect to our christian growth?
  4. How do you grow in your spiritual walk? Is it mostly by hearing or doing?
  5. What do these passages have to say about hearing and doing? Matthew 7:24-27; Hebrews 5:11-13
