Rwanda

Faith Church began a journey with World Vision in Karaba, Rwanda in 2008. Through this focus area, our congregation – including children, students and adults – has been part of a journey to make a tremendous impact in the community of Karaba and its surrounding area. We’ve been able to support Team Rwanda, Kids Team Rwanda, End Malaria projects, Caregiver Kit Packing, child sponsorship and basket sales in support of micro-financing.

A team of leaders from Faith Church traveled to Rwanda in 2010 to deepen our relationship and see firsthand Faith Church’s impact in Rwanda. Later that same year, we celebrated that trip through our sermon series, The Hole in Our Gospel. Since then, many of our members and attenders have discovered their own ways to be involved in the world utilizing our unique God-given gifts.

In 2017, we saw the completion of World Vision’s work in Karaba, and as a church, we transitioned our focus to a new community in Rwanda called Simbi. We are thrilled to be able to have a lasting impact through our partnership in Karaba and share in the blessing that generations of children will have access to clean water, education and sustainable gardens. We look forward to continuing alongside World Vision and their work in Simbi.

We celebrate over a decade long journey with World Vision to reach the “Land of a Thousand Hills” through community development efforts. Together, we are bringing Jesus Christ to the poor and oppressed, bearing witness to the good news of the Kingdom of God.
