Women

Women's Ministries connect women to God through worship, relationships, discipleship and nurturing. The women of Faith are a community of women who love God and are committed to staying connected to the life-giving vine, Jesus Christ. Our connection to the Vine is through our growing relationship with  Him.

Bible Studies -  To be apart of one of the studies below or for questions contact the leader of the study.

Through studying God's Word, we are encouraged to live a lifestyle of worship, prayer, spiritual growth and fellowship with other women. Bible studies (generally 6-12 wk sessions) are offered both in the mornings and evenings at various Faith locations. (Childcare may be available during the daytime studies for a small fee with a minimum number of children using the nursery.)

Topics vary throughout the year. Current studies are listed below.

Women: Bible Study - Help My Unbelief (Zoom)

When: Tuesday, Morning

The Tuesday AM Women's Bible Study has been meeting since Spring 2017. Our group has 30+ women ranging in age from 25-70+. We study both books of the Bible and topical studies. Our Winter study is Help My Unbelief: Why Doubt is not the Enemy of Faith by Barnaby Piper. We'll explore how Christians struggle with doubt and unbelief; understand that experiencing doubt is part of what it means to be human; distinguish healthy doubt from hurtful doubt; and learn to bring our doubts to Jesus. Help My Unbelief starts 1-12 and ends 2-23. We will meet every Tuesday from 9:15-11:15 AM via Zoom. Need help with Zoom? Let me know! (We will resume meeting at the Dyer campus for our studies when it is safer for all of our group members.) Please order your copy of the Help My Unbelief Bible Study Workbook online. Note: A Help My Unbelief book is also available. We will not be using this version. Please join us! For more information, contact Patricia Jaracz 708-474-4132 or [email protected]

Women: Hurting Moms, Mending Hearts (Highland)

When: Wednesday, Evening    Where: 8910 Grace Street Highland, IN

We will be studying "The Storm Inside" by Shelia Walsh. Through this study, Walsh unpacks the stories of women from the Bible who faced seemingly insurmountable problems-regret, shame, insecurity, and heartbreak. And just like the women from the Bible, you can overcome the lies the enemy uses to torment you. You too can rely on the truth of God's word so you can stand during the strongest storms of your life. Meets every other Wednesday, January 20-April 28, 6:30-8 PM. Please contact Lynea Lytle at (219) 313-1263 for more info.
